About
Rollerina Skate Co.

Our
Story

Rollerina Skate Co. is a woman-led skating community based in Central Florida. Built on empowerment, safety, positivity, and a judgment-free environment, this community was created as a welcoming space for women to learn how to skate and grow in confidence alongside others.

Founded in May 2026, Rollerina Skate Co. has grown into more than 15 chapters across Florida, with over 850+ women participating in daily and weekly meetups focused on both quad and inline skating. We partner with local communities and organizations to bring free skating classes and group meetups to areas closest to you, making movement, education, and connection more accessible to all.

Our partnerships include the Local Habit Community, Orlando Roller Derby, Golden Collective, Peter Glenn Sports, and many more organizations that support community wellness, movement, and women’s empowerment.

Our mission is simple: to make skating accessible, safe, and joyful for every woman who wants to be part of it. Every meetup is built around encouragement, patience, and community—where no one gets left behind and everyone is respected at their own pace.

What we stand for: Safety first. Inclusivity and encouragement.

Women supporting women. Community. Structured learning. And Safe Spaces in Sport.

This is why many of our instructors are trained in safeguarding practices, including certification through Safe Sport International’s i-Protect program, reinforcing our commitment to safety, awareness, and responsible leadership within every space we create.

About ME

My name is "Rollerina" Jakki

I graduated from ministry and leadership school in 2020, where I developed a foundation in service, leadership, and community impact. Since then, I have dedicated my work to supporting people through nonprofit organizations and outreach programs focused on relief, food security, and humanitarian aid.

My experience includes working with organizations such as Mercy Chefs, Three Square Food Bank, Orange County Food Bank, Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, Amor Medical Outreach and Relief, as well as various church-based community initiatives and disaster relief efforts. I have also worked directly in women's shelters, supporting women navigating crisis, transition and recovery.

Through this work, I’ve had the opportunity to serve individuals and families in moments of crisis and transition, helping provide meals, resources, stability, and hope during some of their most difficult seasons.

These experiences have deeply shaped my approach to leadership and community building. They are the foundation behind Rollerina Skate Co., where service, safety, empowering women, children, and providing genuine care remain at the core of everything I create.
