Book Selection Process
Vote on a genre
Members get a chance to recommend the next genre for the Book of the Month. A poll is put out with the top 3 recommended genre's for selection!
Vote on sub genre
If necessary an additional vote on the sub-genre will be conducted to narrow down the selection.
Suggestion
Collection
At this phase all members can submit their suggestions for the three (3) genre's or sub-genre's selected.
Vote on title
A poll is then sent out to vote on the recommended titles with a small description. The title with the most votes will be our next Book of the Month. During this time we also collect suggestion on the date for our next Book Babes Meet Up.
MEET UP'S
WHAT TO EXPECT AT A MEETUP
If this is your first Book Babes meetup and you’re finally getting your nose out of the book and your feet out the door, we’ve got you.
We know showing up somewhere new can feel intimidating, especially when you don’t know anyone yet. We do our best to choose locations with easy parking and a designated meetup spot before we head inside. When you arrive, send a message in the group chat so another Book Babe can meet you and walk in with you. And if your social anxiety is telling you to turn around and go home? We’ve got you there, too. Send a message and we’ll come out to get you. You don’t have to walk in alone.
Our goal is to make that first step a little easier, help you connect with the other girlies, and remind you that there’s always room for one more Book Babe. To make things a little easier we've put together a list of our admins so you know some familiar faces when you show up for the first time. I never thought I’d help lead a book club, but when I saw so many women sharing a love for books in our community, I knew we needed to make room for more people to gather & connect. And thus, the Book Babes were born at 2am on a random Tuesday. I gravitate toward books about becoming the best version of yourself.

In between being a cake baker, crafty girlie, and special needs SAHM of 3 you will always find me reading something. I am a mood reader so I can read anywhere from 7-8 books in a month. Hey everyone! I’m an absolute bookworm- I always have a book in rotation. Books were my escape from a tough childhood. I’ve made it a point to read as many diverse books written by BIPOC authors & those who have MCs from marginalized communities. In my private practice, I love using bibliotherapy as a tool for healing. I gravitate toward books that broaden my worldview. I live for stories by culturally diverse writers.
